Our Selection Process
Jenn The Tutor’s College Admissions Support Group© class of 2022-2023 will be selected in December. Black female students who are interested in applying can fill out the application below. Jenn the Tutor does work with students from other backgrounds (learn more about that here), however, College Admissions Support Group© exclusively serves Black female students who are currently applying to college.
Step 1: Apply
Fill out the application below. You must be a Black female student currently applying to college.
If you are interested in joining our group for students applying in the future please join the mailing list and we will notify you when our programming for 9th, 10th, and 11th graders begins: Join Our List
Step 2: Attend an Interest Meeting
An interest meeting will be held with College Admissions Support Group© alumni and/or Jenn the Tutor
Step 3: Attend a Work Session
Students who attend the work session will be invited to a group work session where they will have an opportunity to work with other applicants or current group members on their application
Step 4: Application Review
Once a student has attended an interest meeting or a work session, Jenn the Tutor and her team will review the application. Students who are a good fit for the group will be invited to participate. Students who are not a good fit for the group will be considered for other groups or 1-on-1 services or referred.
Please Note: A decision that a student is not the right fit for the College Admissions Support Group© is not a reflection on the student. There are times that we feel 1-on-1 or another group would be a better fit or another College Admissions Consultant we trust would be a better fit.
Step 5: Payment
Students will provide payment and start working in the group. We do have scholarships available for students and we do have individuals, organizations, and corporations sponsoring students. Of note, the group requires students to commit from the time of their entry until Decision Day in May. More details will be provided.
