SAT and ACT READING & WRITING TUTORING INTENSIVE

If you are looking for a specialist for SAT/ACT reading and writing, you came to the right place. I specialize in all areas of the SAT and ACT. That being said, I started in SAT and ACT reading and writing. I specialize in working with students who may have a high math or science score but are struggling to get a comparable reading or writing score. I focus on helping those students relate to reading/writing in the same way they relate to math and science. I work with students who also want to get a perfect score on reading/writing but can’t seem to figure out how. I have had multiple students go on to get perfect scores for SAT and ACT reading/writing. The SAT & ACT reading and/or writing tutoring intensive is typically completed within 3-5 sessions.

SAT & ACT MATH Tutoring Intesive

If you don’t know “what they are asking” for the SAT math or “can’t figure out how to get so many questions done” for ACT math or “can’t figure out what to study “ for either the SAT or the ACT math sections, look no further. In my time as a tutor, I’ve helped multiple students achieve a perfect score in math and helped students improve their math score overall. I help students strategize for the SAT and ACT math students. I work with students in all ranges but this particular intensive is best for students who scored below 500-600 math range and the below 20-27 ACT math range on real or practice tests. I help students learn how to take the SAT and/or ACT math test and work more strategically. The SAT & ACT math tutoring intensive is typically completed within 3-5 sessions.

ACT SCIENCE Tutoring INTENSIVE

Before you explore ACT Science tutoring, do me one favor. Buy For the Love ACT Science book here (this is an affiliate link, I do not get paid by Private Prep to promote this book). This is the most effective book for ACT prep and I use it all the time for ACT Science Tutoring. I have seen student’s scores go up 3-5 points instantly with this book. That may be all you need to do. If you still need help, I can provide support. The ACT Science Tutoring intensive is for students who score between below 20-27 on the ACT science section. While I tutor students who have received a perfect ACT science score and tutor students in the 28-35 range as well, I found the students who received the most benefit from ACT Science tutoring were students whose practice test or actual test scored between 20-27. The ACT science tutoring intensive is typically completed within 3 sessions.

SAT & ACT SELF-STUDY ROADMAPS

First, please access my book recommendations for SAT and ACT self-study here. Also, if you are using Khan Academy for SAT prep and not seeing results, more Khan Academy will not help. Paul Tough’s book Years that Matter Most which is now called The Inequity Machine discusses how the College Board may have not accurately reported the data on Khan Academy’s effectiveness (affiliate link- I was not paid to promote this book). I do not use Khan Academy much with my students. My students see better results with 1600.io free or paid courses. I use 36University (which is a paid subscription) for my ACT students. Sorry, have not found a free tool.

That all being said, if you need someone to support you as you develop a SAT or ACT self-study plan, I am more than willing to support you.
